Planofix plant growth regulator: Application and benefits

Planofix is a growth regulator that is commonly used in agriculture to increase the yield and quality of crops.

It is a liquid formulation that is widely available and is manufactured by several companies.

In this blog, we will discuss the benefits, dosage, and application of Planofix.

Planofix contains gibberellic acid, which is a natural plant hormone that promotes cell elongation and division.

It is particularly effective in stimulating the growth of lateral buds, which results in an increase in the number of branches and ultimately, an increase in yield.

Planofix is also known to improve the quality of fruits and vegetables by increasing their size, improving their colour, and making them more resistant to diseases.

The dosage of Planofix depends on the crop and the growth stage.

For example, for grapes, the recommended dosage is 5-10 ppm during the fruiting stage, while for tomatoes, the recommended dosage is 10-20 ppm during the early flowering stage.

It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct dosage.

Planofix can be applied through foliar spray or soil application. Foliar spray is the most common method of application, where the solution is sprayed directly onto the leaves of the plant.

The solution should be evenly applied to ensure that all parts of the plant are covered. It is recommended to apply Planofix early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid high temperatures, which can cause the solution to evaporate quickly.

For soil application, the solution is applied directly to the soil around the plant.

Planofix is an effective growth regulator that can significantly increase the yield and quality of crops.

It contains gibberellic acid, which promotes cell elongation and division, resulting in an increase in the number of branches and ultimately, an increase in yield.

It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct dosage and application method to ensure optimal results
